Hydrangea arborescens 'Flowerwow'

£22.00Price

Description: 'Flowerwow' is a compact variety with stronger stems and two to three times more blooms than other arborescens. With the large flower heads it is best suited to a sheltered position in a border where it can get some support, either by planting in a group or from surrounding plants.

Flowering time: June to October

Foliage: Deciduous

Size: Height and spread 1m to 1.25m

Position: Will tolerate full sun if there is plenty of moisture in the soil otherwise the flowerheads will burn. Dappled shade is best.

Soil: Moist, well drained.

Pruning: Cut back stems at the end of winter (end Feb/March).
