Description: 'Julisa' is a recent introduction, compact with deep-pink mophead flowers. The young foliage is purple, turning green in summer and then a fiery red in autumn. Flowering time: July to September

Foliage: Deciduous

Size: Height and spread 0.8m to 1.2m

Position: Will thrive best in partial or dappled shade

Soil: Moist, well drained.

Pruning: Little needed. Cutting stems back in winter will remove next seasons flower buds so best avoided. Just cut off dead flowers down to the next leaf buds.
