Description: 'Leuchtfeuer' is a classic variety from Germany. The flowers start bi-coloured: greenish-cream centres with red edges and develop into one the best deep pink/red varieties.

Position: Will thrive best in partial or dappled shade, planted in a border or large container
Soil: Moist, well drained.
Pruning: Little needed. Cutting stems back in winter will remove next seasons flower buds so best avoided. Just cut off dead flowers down to the next leaf buds.
